Comments about Meyer Metal Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece:
This is an O.K. mouthpiece. However, as expected with J.J. Babbitt brand mouthpieces, the quality can be spotty at best. The side rails on mine are uneven, and the front rail just seems off. I bought this mouthpiece when I was still a newbie, but I don't really regret buying it. The tone is warm, not too bright, and full of body. I added a slight step baffle out of removable putty and the mouthpiece absolutely kills in rock. I'm not trying to scare people away, but you do have to try a few "identical" ones to see which is best for you. I wish I did.
