Works like a charm

Comments about On-Stage Stands Trombone Stand:

When I got my trombone stand, it was already built. All you need to do is adjust it a bit so that it suits your needs. Also, if you buy the Hamilton trombone stand sock, it fits fine on the On-Stage trombone stand. Worth every penny.

Durable Inexpensive, Lightweight Stand

Comments about On-Stage Stands Trombone Stand:

I have used several different trombone stands over the years, but this is my favorite one of all! I have two of them at present, (I have three horns, a King 3B, Bach 42BO with F attachment, and a Yamaha YBL 830 Xeno Bass), and feel confident with both tenors on the stand. I use a larger Hamilton for the Yamaha Bass because of the extra weight and larger inner diameter of the bell. The Stands are inexpensive, light, fold quickly, easy to carry, and I have never had a problem with either of them. Two thumbs up! (P.S. Wished it had a carrying case; I would pay the extra money gladly!)

You Get What You Pay For

Comments about On-Stage Stands Trombone Stand:

Although it is a sturdy stand with solid leg supports and a spring-loaded, foam-padded mount for the bell, I had issues with the hardware being flimsy. The bottom screw for the base stripped out rather quickly, and now I resort to leaving it permanently set-up in my bandroom. My daughter's trumpet version had the same issue, and now it's permanently set-up in her bedroom. I went back to the Hamilton for my gigs as the screws and threads are much stronger. From personal experience, the legs on these stands have been known to snap if stepped on inadvertently, but luckily I've only experienced one guy on a gig that wasn't looking where he was walking on stage,

I use this stand in a jazz ensemble type setting. It is sturdy and holds even my bass bone.
