Beginning in 1985, Pearl introduced its legendary MLX drums under the Professional Series banner to bring the powerful maple sound to the forefront. Today, Professional Series snares return with the spirit of the original and a refreshed, powerful presence for the experienced drummer. Its EvenPly Six 5.3mm North American maple shell is made for lively sonic warmth from the strike of the head, and broadcasts with articulate midrange focus in performance. This snare features Pearl's classic CL dual bridge lug, 2.3mm Superhoop II Triple-Flanged hoops and a Remo UT coated head for the perfect amount of overtone control. Its premium transparent lacquer finish assures a stunning, versatile look and feel in varied venues and climates.
