Selmer Reed CaseThe wood shell construction and vinyl cover help protect your reeds from the elements. The beveled glass reed bed offers optimal protection against warping and tip damage. Holds 5 or 10 reeds.

If you're looking for a case that will last, don't pick this one. I've had mine for a few months and it is literally falling apart. It dents very easily, the "leather" is easily torn, and the hinges are crap.
The general problems with the majority of reed cases are fairly well know. Moldy Reeds, expensive humidity packets, breaking reeds, still warping reeds, etc. This Selmer reed case effectively keeps reeds from warping (when wet, the water from the reeds sticks to the glass evenly, which allows the reed to dry pushed up against the glass, thus no warping) doesn't let the reeds collect mold, and for the most part, the reeds are secure. When dry, the reeds in the case may fall out, but as long as the reeds are somewhat moist, they stick firmly to the glass. I was somewhat worried about the cheap looking metal latches to secure the case. However, after about 2 months of heavy use, they have not given in. What has given in, however, are the physical properties. The metal has begun to dull, and more importantly the leather from the case is peeling around the edges. Although this does not take from the practicality of the case, it does make it look significantly uglier. Note that although I throw this case inside bags and on music stands just about every day, I have only owned this for a few months and it has already begun to wore. Despite this, I really like this case, and I think I'm going to stick with it for the time being. I currently have 6 Bass Clarinet and 4 Clarinet reeds inside - and space for couple more.
This case is well worth the money, but the outside leather is weak and gets indentations very easily and selmer should consider a stronger material. But over all a great reed case I only wish they made one for soprano sax!
A little big to carry around all the time but does keep the reeds nice and straight.
This product is a bit pricey, but I've really cut down on buying reeds. This case has easily doubled the lifespan of my reeds. I used to use the plastic cases that hold 4 reeds, which keep the reeds from breaking, but not warping. This case, however, has stopped all warping. I play three saxes on a regular basis, and I can keep 5 Alto, 2 Soprano, and 5 Tenor reeds snuggly (I have the tenor/bass cl. 10). It is a bit big, especially if I only have my soprano case. I would highly recommend carrying it over placing it in a full backpack. Mine looks a bit rough after a few trips like that, but it still functions great.
