The 9335VS is a collaboration between international trumpet soloist Allen Vizzutti and Bob Malone. The 9335VS features a .459-inch bore with a 4.9-inch yellow brass bell with variable wall thickness for an impressive response. The 9335VS also features brass valve stems, grey pearl finger buttons and a third valve slide stop screw with a solid screw head to add to the overall feel and response of the trumpet.

I love this horn. Im still trying to get use to the amount of air that i have to use compared to other trumpets, but its worth it. My teacher highly recommended this trumpet.
I recently learned the Vizzutti model trumpet has been discontinued and only a few of these fantastic horns remain. The ease of blow is unsurpassed to any trumpet I have played, and this applies to all registers. The blow from G just above the staff on up to the double register is free and open. This is somewhat surprising considering the horn has a supportive mild resistance in the low register. Intonation adjustments (necessary on all brass instruments) are somehow more consistent from day to day with this trumpet. Once you learn where the horn plays relative to the basic harmonic series you are good to go. This is a huge advantage over other trumpets and provides you a big confidence boost when performing. The variable thickness bell can really sizzle when pushed, and yet it also fits comfortably with all styles and ensembles. (Think Big Band on Saturday and church choir on Sunday!) Lip trills, slurs and general trumpet technique are joyful to play as the compression is second to none. It is a shame Yamaha is shutting the door forever on this genuine gem!
I haven't had a trumpet that I've enjoyed playing since I bought my Spiri Vario. But this horn is really incredible. The response is great and the registers are open and speak well. I highly recommend this horn.
