Great horn!!! Great intonation, quick response.....you can't get ahead of this horn. Lower register notes can be a little challenging as with any sax, but overall one of the best horns I've had the pleasure of playing.
Had been playing a straight Yani beforn this one and never thought that a curved horn could be better. Then I tried this horn and am having a love affair playing this horn. Every time I play it I get compliments on the sound quality from other Soprano sax players as well as the general public. Great horn.
I?ve been playing the YANI 991 AND THE 992, BRONZE together for 20 years or more. Before that I played a straight Selmer mark VI. Of course if someone can give me a better horn than the 992, I?ll buy that one.
WOW. I am amazed at the sound this Curved Soprano produces. I've played on it live several times and have had a multitude of compliments on its sound, and more importantly, its look!
