OVERVIEW

Move about with ease and comfort!

The Gard Doubler's Alto and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag features several ways to transport your instrument, great protection, and room for a lot of accessories.Four wheels and a six position, telescoping handle make using the bag smooth with a customizable level of comfort. An extendable bottom base will help prevent the bag from tipping over. If wheeling the bag isn't possible, padded backpack straps or a thick shoulder strap make carrying comfortable. A padded flap conveniently folds over the wheels for both comfort and to protect clothing from dirt. Gard Bags are known for their high-quality protection, and the Wheelie Bag Series is no exception. Dense foam surrounds the saxophones and padded blocks can be placed where they best fit for maximum stability. An expandable exterior pocket provides more than enough room for accessories, music, and even a few personal items. To protect the bag during rain, a rain cape fits snuggly around the outside of the case. This cape also has a reflective logo to make sure you're noticed in the dark. There is not another bag that provides so many options and high quality protection at such an affordable price.

A Must-Have for the Doubler!

Comments about Gard Doubler's Alto and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:

I've had this bag for about two weeks now. My initial impression was that this bag is made of the highest quality leather. I love the fact that the internal foam pads are completely movable so you can customize this bag to fit your specific horns. Even with a soprano and alto in the bag, it doesn't weigh a lot. The external pockets have plenty a room for a metronome and your mouthpiece pouches, reeds, and much more. Buy this now!

Comments about Gard Doubler's Alto and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:

When my old Selmer traypack finally wore out, I needed to find a new case that could hold multiple horns. The bari player in one of the bands I play with had just bought a case from Gard, and I realized what had been missing in my gigging life: wheels! Rather than strapping my gear to a luggage cart, why not have a case that rolls? I bought this doubler's case, and my back is so grateful. I can pack the alto and tenor, or tenor and soprano, or alto and soprano, and also have my flute in one of the two side pockets. The other pocket holds my stand light, extension cord, tools, 1/4-in. line connectors, iPad cord?.The front pouch is where I keep reeds and clothes pins and my music-reading glasses. The only downside to this case is that there's no room for a clarinet, so I had to buy another case for the clarinet (the original one had been lost so long ago, but it hadn't mattered, since the traypack case held my flute, clarinet, and alto). On occasion I have to take stairs. After cursing under my breath, I pull the backpack straps out of the rear of this case, and strap my horns to my back. Hard on the body, but 90% of the time I just roll from the car right up to the stage. I paid $300+ for my doubler's bag, and was happy at that price. I see that the Woodwind/Brasswind has it for less than that. If I needed another one, I'd buy it at this price. But my case is holding up real well (I have the leather version), after several years and hundreds of gigs. The wheels have gone over just about any surface you can imagine, and they're still in great shape, so I figure I'm good for another couple hundred gigs before I'll need to get a new one.
