The Gretsch G5622T features a double-cutaway maple body that lets you easily reach those high notes on the 22-fret laurel fingerboard. Its comfortable body contours, including forearm and ribcage cutaways, allow your fretting hand to move freely across the neck and upper frets. Whether you're ripping rock solos or fingerpicking intricate jazz chords, this Gretsch has the ergonomic design to support your playing.

Chambered Spruce Center Block Provides Resonance and Portability

At the heart of the G5622T is a chambered spruce center block that enhances resonance and sustain. By removing some wood, it reduces overall weight while retaining the vibrant acoustic properties of spruce. The result is a lively, resonant tone combined with a lightweight feel that makes this Gretsch comfortable to wear on stage. The maple top, back and sides also lend bright, balanced tone.
