Constructed with a six-ply durable shell, two-ply birch interior and four-ply maple exterior, offering a warm sound while the special snare bed provides a superior response. Each Quantum Classic snare drum features strong, die case aluminum hoops and a 12-lug suspension frame to handle the highest tension tuning and all batter and snare head types. The Mapex Quantum Classic marching snare comes standard with Gloss Chrome hardware.
