The Chad Smith Tricolon Free Floating Snare (CS1465F) is a crowning achievement in true percussive perfection. Taking its name from the Latin term meaning œI Came, I Saw, I Conquered, this drum shell features three interchangeable 3mm rings are housed in Pearl' legendary free-floating snare frame. This not only allows for multiple tonal combinations when stacked in different order, but also for total resonant freedom from attachment hardware. This drum produces the cut and projection of brass with the round overtones of steel.
The drum is fitted with die-cast Mastercast hoops for long-term durability and FT-65 tube lugs for a steady, precise tune. Only 50 snares will be available in the US. Includes a signed drum head and certificate of authenticity.
