The best playing and sounding mouthpiece Peter Ponzol has ever made.
The Peter Ponzol Stainless Steel Vintage Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece combines the best features of the old II-V-I and ML models. This means it's free blowing with a vintage sound. A CNC lathe is used to cut the mouthpiece's basic shape. Then the mouthpiece is hand finished and tested for the right sound and feel. Included with the mouthpiece is a Rovner ligature and cap.

Comments about Peter Ponzol Stainless Steel Vintage Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece:
A littler darker sounding than the II V I model that is one of the pieces this replaces thus making it not quite as loud and a little closer to a Link. Chamber appears to be slightly larger and begins sooner than my II V I. Piece is not stuffy at all and plays evenly throughout the registers. Reed friendly. Primarily recommended for acoustic Jazz players.
