Craft Sounds With the Fully Analog Signal Path
The PRO-1 features an all-analog design that accurately recreates the sound of vintage synths. Its 3340 VCO chips, legendary VCF/VCA circuits and dedicated LFO capture the character of classics like the Minimoog and ARP Odyssey. Dial in sawtooth, pulse and triangle waveforms to design sounds with richness and complexity. The 4-pole low/high pass filter provides extensive tone-shaping control. Layer Sounds With Dual Oscillators
Shape your sound with the two voltage-controlled oscillators. Oscillator A generates sawtooth and pulse waves while Oscillator B offers sawtooth, triangle and pulse. With a range of four octaves, you can create stacks, textures and evolving tones. The mixer section balances the VCOs and noise generator for even more creative options. The PRO-1 gives monophonic playability with a 16-note poly chain.
Expand Polyphony with 16-Note Polychain
While the PRO-1 is monophonic, the innovative 16-note polychain function lets you connect multiple units to achieve expanded polyphony. You can chain up to 16 PRO-1 synths for studio and stage flexibility. Polychaining also improves stability over vintage designs, keeping your sounds glitch-free.
Perform and Sequence Musical Ideas
To stimulate creativity, the PRO-1 provides dual 64-step sequencers for capturing your musical ideas. You can record and playback sequences in real-time Keyboard mode or use Step mode for added interaction. An arpeggiator with selectable Up, Down and Off modes further enhances live playing dynamics. Between the built-in sequencers and arpeggiator, the PRO-1 is a performance powerhouse.
