The Behringer S32 digital stage box brings immense connectivity and flexibility to your live and studio rigs. With 32 MIDAS-designed XLR mic preamps, it captures each input with exceptional transparency. There are 16 balanced XLR outputs to send crisp, noise-free signals to front-of-house or monitor mixes. Capture 32 Channels of Pristine Audio With XLR Mic Preamps
This Behringer stage box is equipped with 32 XLR mic inputs, each utilizing a high-end MIDAS-designed preamp. The preamps deliver ultra-low noise and plenty of headroom to capture every nuance of each input without coloration. With 32 channels of pristine audio capture, the S32 has the flexibility to handle anything from solo performers to full bands with backup singers and auxiliary percussion.
16 Balanced XLR Line Outputs for Routing Audio
In addition to the 32 inputs, the S32 provides 16 balanced XLR line outputs. This gives you the capability to route audio to front-of-house or monitor console channels, external effects units and multitrack recording interfaces. The balanced design ensures noise-free operation over long cable runs, giving you freedom in system configuration and layout.
Digital Connectivity Through ADAT, AES3, USB and MIDI
On top of the analog I/O, the S32 includes digital connectivity for integrating with outboard equipment and consoles. Dual optical ADAT outputs let you send audio to effects or hard disk recording systems. Two AES3 outputs provide stereo digital audio transmission to PA system controllers or other devices. USB and MIDI ports enable you to connect to a computer for control, programming and software updates. With this much connectivity, the S32 is ready to handle any live or studio application.
Dual AES50 Ports Allow Networking With the X32 and Other Consoles
The S32 is equipped with dual AES50 SuperMAC ports, providing the capability to network with Behringer's X32 Digital Mixing Console over long distances. Using just a single Cat 5e cable, you can transmit up to 64 channels of digital audio between the S32 and an X32 mixer. The S32 is also compatible with other mixers that have AES50 networking. This allows for easy digital signal distribution and control throughout your live sound setup or studio environment.
